Amazonite is a beautiful green stone. This one comes from the Morefield Mine in Virginia
Noreena Jasper is filled with intricate and interesting visual characteristics that make it a wonderful cabochon. The detail of a starburst jasper is much finer, and equally beautiful.
Lapis Lazuli is a highly desirable stone of great beauty. Notice even in the close up of pendant 71222202. I've rounded and polished the stone as one might do on a normal cabochon, but I left an area in the middle unpolished and in fact almost like a gouge. This part is what the real stone looks like. You can see into the untouched heart of the stone so to speak, and it is still beautiful.
I have this stone in both a light purple, and more of a pink.
Sodalite is a deep blue stone that's a cousin in appearance to the more expensive Lapis Lazuli.
This stone looks almost like wood. It polishes up much like Noreen Jasper.
I have this with black inclusions and with tan inclusions. Both come from a mine near Kingman AZ. Turquoise is a personal favoite.
This is a bit of amazonite i've cut and polished into a free form cabochon. I'll mount it by soldering the band to the base plate, then setting the stone. So much fun to create a thing of beauty!
