Named after the Amazon RIver, but actually mined in in Virginia, this green stone has a rich history. Many older civilizations believed that it had medicinal purposes, such as healing wounds and protecting against illness. There are even legends calling it the “Stone of Hope”, as it was believed to attract hope and faith to the wearer. No one Amazonite stone is exactly the same, so you are assured a one of the kind piece of jewelry.

Sodalite is a deep blue stone that's a cousin in appearance to the more expensive Lapis Lazuli.
I have this with black inclusions and with tan inclusions. Both come from a mine near Kingman AZ. Turquoise is a personal favoite.
Dendritic Opal has areas of milky white, pail milky blue, clear, and lines of tree root like black. It polishes up beautifully and is a wonder to hold. When grinding the wash comes off as a thin stream that lays the powdered stone cleanly in the drip pan. All parts of the stone grind to the same level unlike stones that have varying areas of hardness. I'm really liking this stone!
